Where’s the Local Love?
That’s the thing — there’s so much local talent around, but most of it is invisible online unless someone tells you about it directly. I started using the Local Business Directory, and it’s honestly one of the few places that actually highlights small, eastern Ontario businesses in one spot. It doesn’t feel salesy or bloated either. Just clean listings with links and info — super easy to navigate. I’ve found a few awesome people that way: a custom furniture guy, a seamstress, even a local bike repair shop. It’s become my go-to when I want to find someone nearby who actually cares about their work.

That’s actually so smart. I’ve been using Google and it’s hit or miss — sometimes I end up calling businesses that aren’t even in town. I’m checking this out for sure. Thanks for pointing it out!
